“ This was our first time at this location and it didn't disappoint!!! The service was beyond amazing! You are alway greeted like family when you enter. The aloha spirit is well and alive here. This location is on the smaller side compared to the other locations but it is still great! We ordered the Big Kahuna and it truly was outstanding! They allowed us to substitute out the chicken for extra beef and that was a great choice! The beef was tender and flavorful! Will definitely be coming back soon! ”

“ Tasty beef ribs! Sam's Plate is the first combo on the menu and it's probably their most popular. All meats are great here but the beef ribs is what usually brings people in the first time. Beef ribs have a great tasting marinade and good amount of meat. The combo comes with 5 bones and fills you up. Restaurant itself has a chill and hip atmosphere. There's a big window into the kitchen so you can watch how they prep and cook the food. Service is good and straightforward. Check out the menu then order at the counter. They'll call out your number when it's ready. Heads up - it can get very busy here at lunch, but they do a pretty good job of moving things along. Besides walk ins, they process a lot of to go orders too. ”

“ Came here on a weekday, early afternoon around 230p... I was surprised that it was actually very busy considering it was in between lunch and dinner. With that said, our group of 5 was able to order at the counter and grab a table.. (only about 6 tables and a long counter w stools along the wall). We waited a few mins for our food... It's a lot of food, a combo is good for one person with a big appetite, but also enough for two if you were to order an extra side to share. Husband and I shared combo #1, beef ribs. Big boned ribs with juicy meat and fat .. not the most meaty cuts, but the stack is more than enough. I added a side of steamed veggies, and it seemed to be a good balance with the meat. It comes with a side of teriyaki sauce which is sweet addition to the flavors... my kid got a Keiki meal of chicken and rice. I think an adult would be satisfied with the serving. Boneless chicken, slightly on the dry side, but still with lots of flavor. Our group also got the kalbi ribs, n they seemed completely satisfied. Limited selection if you are leaning towards the healthier eating .. but definitely a satisfying meal otherwise! Prices are fair and affordable. ”

“ We had to try this place during our visit in Las Vegas! We came here for a snack while we were exploring and had to try the beef ribs. It looks like a great local place and really liked how they have the kitchen exposed to see them cooking. It smells amazing inside!! The beef ribs were big and super tender. I love the smoky flavor on it with the sweet Hawaiian barbecue taste. Each rib was about $3. We also got the Portuguese sausage musubi that had a good amount of rice and Portuguese sausage. I would come back again to try their lunch plates! ”

“ The main reason I come out here is for the "Beef Rib Plate". It comes with about 5-6 Big Beef Bone ribs with meat that literally falls off the bone and the flavor of sweet and salty combined with a couple scoops of rice and Mac salad. The perfect combination! You can watch them grilled up the ribs through the plexiglass and just smell all goodness. Service is quick and food comes out with little to know wait. Everyone is friendly. And you gotta wash it down with any of their Hawaiian Sun drinks. ”

“ After driving from LA to Vegas, we worked up an appetite so we decided to stop here for lunch. Matiki is known for their delicious ribs and I couldn't wait to taste their ribs. Unfortunately, I was disappointed because they ran out of ribs and kalbi. I settled for their steak and chicken which was the next best thing. The steak and chicken were delicious and they give generous portions which can be shared between two people. It came with a side of rice and macaroni salad. I will definitely come back whenever I'm in Vegas to try their beef ribs. ”
